Microsoft Windows 11 is the latest version of its nameplate for Windows operating systems, announced on October 5, 2021, at the Build conference. It was released to manufacturing (RTM) in November 2021 and officially launched to consumers via the Windows Store on December 10, 2021.
The new interface design is centered around a clean aesthetic that emphasizes simplicity, ease of use, and an overall modern look and feel. Key features include:
– A reworked Start menu with a more streamlined and personalized design.
– An improved Start button now displaying information about the device’s location on a virtual desktop.
